Pearl's patented Free Floating system has changed the drumming world forever. It allows for maximum resonance and tone, because the drum shell and hardware are not in contact with each other. The beauty of the Free Floating system is that replacing your shell is as easy as replacing a drumhead.

The Pearl FB65 is a 14 x 6.5-inch replacement shell for the Pearl Free Floating snare drums. This brass shell will give you plenty of volume that lets you cut through any mix with ease, along with a nice bright tone with that great metallic crack!
