The Ludwig Supraphonic and Acrolite snares have been much-loved legends of the drumming world for decades, but if you want the power of this incredibly flexible and mighty snare on your side, you usually have to fork out quite a chunk of cash. Thankfully, Ludwig have served up the more accessible Supralite Series, so that, while they might be made in a different workshop, they're still gifted with Ludwig-grade quality and fat sound. So here, you're getting a 14" by 6.5" steel shell with an insane tuning range and fitted with 2.3mm triple flanged tension hoops for thick rim shots and clicks. The LW6514SL is just as able to support any playing style as any of its celebrated siblings.

NAMM 2016: Tama Presents New S.L.P. Snare Drums
