General

Ludwig may very well be the most famous name in drumming, and this Hammered Bronze snare drum is yet another masterpiece! What's special about the LB552KT, is that it's made of a material that is usually used for making cymbals. The bronze gives this 14" snare drum both the excellent snare resonance of a metal shell, as well as the warm sound of a wooden shell. Furthermore, the hand-hammered shell allows for a slightly drier tone than a conventional one would, as well as improved response.

The Hammered Bronze LB552KT snare drum has a 14" diameter and is 6.5" deep. It features the P85 Supra-Phonic snare strainer, 10 tube lugs - which, besides looking nice, also help improve shell resonance - and 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops.
