General

This good-looking GB4161S is part of Gretsch's Brooklyn series. The shell has a characteristic chrome finish and a subtle centre knurl pattern, and is fitted with chrome hardware, creating a striking overall appearance. As it's made of steel, the shell produces a powerful, exceptionally pervasive sound.

Gretsch GB4161S USA Brooklyn snare drum

Measuring 10 by 5 inches, this GB4161S is the most compact snare from Gretsch's USA Brooklyn series. Its steel shell is equipped with '302' hoops, Gretsch Permatone drumheads and 20-strand snare wires, which all combine to create a highly characteristic sound. The GB4161S also features the popular Lightning throw-off system, which means you can quickly and effortlessly tighten and loosen the snare wires.
