Made of seven plies of poplar supported by nicely rounded, 30° bearing edges, this cheekily low-priced Blackhawk Mighty Mini 10-by-5.5-inch snare from Gretsch Drums packs true grit and comes fitted with 1.6mm triple flanged hoops and six solid lugs. No matter how it's tuned, the Blackhawk Mighty Mini shapes intense, bright and mix-slicing sound and can even be set up as a side-snare via the GTS mounting system
