General
The Chauvet Geyser RGB is a cleverly designed effect machine, consisting of a traditional smoke machine combined with modern technology and RGB LED illumination. The Geyser emits a powerful, thick, vertical column of smoke. The built-in RGB lighting accentuates the smoke column, creating a flame-like effect that looks just like the real thing. The Geyser RGB provides an excellent imitation of a CO2 jet or a flame jet, but the smoke machine technology that it uses to create this effect is much more safe.
Technology of the Geyser RGB
Chauvet's advanced emission system is cleverly developed. It allows you to use the Geyser RGB for special effect applications. Think of the unique back-flow system, for instance. When the smoke emission is turned off, the fluid supply is abruptly stopped and any excess fluid flows back into the tank. As a result, no additional puffs of smoke are emitted by the machine, which makes for a realistic 'pyrotechnical' effect.
Operation and control of the Geyser
The Geyser RGB is a versatile machine, also in its means of operation. Out-of-the-box it comes with an accessory four-button infra-red remote control with a separate receiver. Via the display of the machine you can select a colour preset or random colour effect for channel 1, 2, 3 and 4. Subsequently, these presets can be recalled by means of the four buttons on the remote control. Ideal for simple applications that require just a touch of variation! Several machines can be controlled simultaneously, provided that they are within range of the receiver.
Construction and fluid for a perfect vertical effect
A lot of thought has been put into the construction of the Geyser RGB. The specially designed tank has a tilted cap, which means the machine can be placed both horizontally and vertically. The tank is fastened by means of a bottle lock bracket, which keeps it in its place. The Geyser RGB is fitted with three M12 mounting points at the bottom, which allows for inverted suspension from a truss system. In that case, the fluid tank is placed at the bottom of the machine. Safety has been taken into account as well: the Geyser can be secured with a safety cable in various places, whether it is positioned upright or suspended. The Geyser RGB works with most smoke machine fluids, both medium and high density. Naturally, the effect of the smoke column is dependent on the type of fluid you are using.
Tips or comments about this product
Please note:
- The use of JEM Pro Steam Simulation fluid is recommended for this product.
- The Geyser RGB can be suspended in an inverted position. The bottom of the machine is fitted with three M10 mounting points for half couplers + a safety loop. For inverted suspension the removable plate at the bottom must be attached to the top instead, while the bottle lock at the top of the machine must be attached to the bottom in order to secure the tank during use.
