The Rycote CA-08 small-diaphragm, cardioid condenser microphone packs an extremely natural sound, a low noise floor, and superb RFI resistance, making it an excellent microphone for film shoots and TV productions. Featuring an active line-filter and excellent mechanical RF shielding, the CA-08 fully counters interference caused by wireless microphones, cellphones and walkie-talkies. Combine it with a high-quality preamp and it'll capture the sound of a pin dropping on a deep pile carpet. Also suited for detailed instrument recordings, the Rycote CA-08 is also a great choice for classical music and jazz producers.
