The Perfect Balance by JoJo Mayer and Sonor is a modern, highly-refined single bass drum pedal with a vintage feel and a great response. This pedal is the result of Swiss-American Mayer's years of experimentation. His aim was to produce a pedal that was portable, easy to assemble and disassemble, and offered drummers an excellent response. Simplicity was the starting point for the development and together with Sonor, he succeeded in achieving all of these aims.

This pedal's design has been kept as simple and streamlined as possible by integrating parts. The rounded drive cam and beater have been combined, for instance, to make movements as efficient as possible. An extremely robust ballistic fibre strap connects the foot board to the beater and this makes movements very direct and smooth. There's also the possibility to use a double chain drive cam should you prefer.

The pedal has a self-mounting clamp that fits all hoop thicknesses, ensuring a stable connection. The long foot board allows for various pedal techniques and gives you plenty of control over the attack.
