Lending modern aesthetics to an ancient Tibetan meditation aid, the Sela Crystal Singing Bowl is made from pure crystal and has been given a raw, frosted finish to promote a clear and long-lasting melodic tone. This singing bowl comes with a silicon ring and a wooden mallet with a rubber head. Place the bowl on the ring to ensure it's able to resonate freely before tapping the sides with your fingers or the mallet, or run the mallet around the rim to produce a clear and defined note. This model is tuned at 440 hertz to match the A concert pitch, making it easy to combine with other instruments.

Sela dreamed up yet another fun add-on for percussionists with their Tac Tic. This simple-looking instrument is much more versatile than you might think. The Tac Tic is basically three instruments in one: a shaker, a jingle stick and a pair of castanets. You can even combine those instrument sounds.

Sela presented a number of new cajons at the annual Musikmesse trade show in Frankfurt, as well as a few existing models that have been given a makeover! Now, the popular Varios entry-level model is available with a gold front plate and it even comes in a 37cm-high miniature version, specially designed for the smallest percussionists among us. The most noteworthy of the new additions is without a doubt the CaSela Vintage series.
