General

Built for guitarists and bassists, the KMA Audio Machines Tyler Deluxe stompbox is able to split your sound into two frequency ranges, so you can stick them through two different effects loops. This pedal picks out the low-end and high-end frequencies, sending them out separately, so one set of effects can be applied to one end and a whole different set of effects can be applied to the other end. Basically with this two-channel KMA creation, you can suddenly conjure never-heard-before sounds using just two or more effect pedals.

The KMA Tyler Deluxe: The Only Limit is Your Imagination

While the LP section processes the high-end of your guitar or bass sound - offering the ideal spot for say, your distortions, the HP section takes care of the bottom-end, so you can thicken them up with maybe an octaver or even a subharmonic generator... or similar. The only limit to the potential of the Tyler Deluxe is, in fact, your own mortal imagination. Via the Pass control pot of both sections, the frequency band can be selected anywhere between 3kHz and 20Hz and, so both sections can be toggled on and off at will, you also get an independent LP Loop and HP Loop footswitch.

The Simple Solve for Creative Setups

If you have a mountain of effects stacked up on both loops and could do with a touch more tonal body, then simply twist open the Clean control pot to add more of your original sound to the mix - upping the focus. If the overall sound starts to get a bit too shrill or sounds a bit too dead, signalling a phase issue, then easily solve it by flipping one of the two fitted phase switches, and the big, central Mix pot is like the master control of this extensive KMA pedal, since it sets the LP and HP loop levels, handing you complete control over a wealth of creative options.

Excellente pédale pour tous les sound designers qui cherchent à trouver le tone parfait. J'aime l'utiliser pour superposer des gain stages/overdrives en gardant la couleur précise que je cherche sur chaqu'un. Et sinon quoi de plus satisfaisant que d'avoir un delay et une reverb qui se superposent sans s'affecter, le tout en laissant passer le signal dry au besoin ?
Un nombre d'utilisations quasi infinies, seule votre imagination est une limitation !
Attention je recommande une alimentation isolée pour cette pédale car elle crée un léger noise si elle est branchée en daisy chain.

Je moet er even je tijd voor nemen, maar deze pedaal is een aanrader voor iemand die opzoek is naar iets dergelijk. Het opent een nieuwe wereld waarin je meer controle hebt over je sound. Ik zou niet meer zonder deze luxe kunnen.

Tja, wat kan ik zeggen. Hoewel ik er hele gave dingen mee heb gedaan, ben ik nog lang niet klaar met de fine-tuning. Perfect om een vet basgeluid live mee te maken, zeker als je met overdrive speelt. Ik compress het laag 100%, dus altijd lekker veel druk op de speaker. Het hoog compress ik juist helemaal niet, zodat de overdrive aanslag gevoelig is. Dat is een mega vette live-sensatie!
Dit apparaat ligt ooit op ieders pedalboard!

Mooi gemaakt met goede kwaliteit, en het biedt veel toon mogelijkheden dat je niet op een andere manier kan krijgen. De crossover functionaliteit maakt een groot verschil in vergelijking met andere gewone mixer pedalletjes. Omdat de crossover frequency per kanaal apart kan ingesteld worden, het is soms een beetje moeilijker om je de juiste instelling te vinden, maar daardoor is het ook flexibiler. Aangeraden!
