General

The Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple Fusion four-piece shell set simply combines contemporary design features to result in contemporary sound. This fully up-to-date set includes a 22 inch by 18 inch kick, a 10 inch by 7 inch and 12 inch by 8 inch rack tom, and a 16 inch by 15 inch floor tom, completing a fat rock configuration. Since each hybrid shell has a two-ply maple construction with a single layer of wenge wood sandwiched in between, you're getting warm and articulate sound that's packed with a wide dynamic range, while both toms are mounted via the included YESS III system to reduce shell contact and improve resonance. To finish, each shell comes dipped in a stage-worthy Polar White.

Drumkit incroyable! Un son précis et propre! Un accordage qui tient même sous les frappes lourde! Les «hook lugs» a démontage rapide ont le chrome le plus brillant que j’ai vu sur un drumkit! Les suspensions YESS III (très stables) laissent les toms résonner avec le plus beau des temps de chute! La finition chirurgicale des plis de l’érable et du wengé, ont un vernis mate «vintage naturel» sur le pli interne! les chanfreins sont doux au toucher et différents suivent les fûts (qui ont un nombre précis d’évent de décompression: 1 pour les tom 10&12, 6 pour le tom bass, 10 pour la grosse caisse!) Les cercles die-cast en aluminium procure un son d’une netteté rarement entendu! Cerise sur le gâteau, la couleur «polar white» qui scintille avec des reflets bleu et doré suivant l’inclinaison!
