This 6-piece Mapex Armory Stage+ shell set offers sleek, fast tuning and a solid, flexible foundation for a customisable kit, all at an attainable price. The versatile fusion configuration comes with an extra deep kick drum and, unusually generous for shell-set, a snare drum is also included.

The Mapex Armory Stage+ Fusion Shell Set

Each shell has been shaped by 7.2mm thick, 6-ply maple and birch hybrid walls. This combo guarantees balanced and excellently focussed sound that's packed with plenty of tone - resulting in an articulate response, all thanks to the naturally boosted low-end and high-end of birch and mid-frequency rich edge of maple.

The Fusion Configuration

The Armory set comes with a 10 inch by 7 inch and 12 inch by 8 inch hanging tom, a 14 inch by 12 inch and 16 inch by 14 inch floor tom, a deeper-than-average 22 inch by 20 inch kick drum and a 14 inch by 5.5 inch Tomahawk snare drum. Each shell comes mounted with chrome-plated hardware and fitted with SONIClear tension hoops for enhanced contact between the hoop and skin, and a full set of tom legs and a pair of TH800 SONIClear tom holders have also been generously thrown in. And, due to the smart SONIClear system, the tom mounts can be neatly clamped onto a cymbal stand, allowing the toms to hang and resonate freely to support fuller sound.
