General

Vintage style smoothly mashed up with modern tonal dexterity, the Gretsch G2655TG Streamliner Jr. Double-Cut guitar takes a more compact semi-hollow body and loads it up with the handsome looks of deluxe gilded hardware, a set of classic G-Arrow pot caps and mother-of-pearl Big Block position markers. The Gretsch-grade aesthetics are fully backed up by the refined playability of a stable set-in nato neck and thinline laminated maple body, which gives this model its defined and articulate acoustic foundation. The body has also been furnished with a spruce centre-block, reducing the chance of feedback at hotter gain levels.

The Gretsch G2655TG Streamliner Jr: Double the Fun

The Gretsch G2655TG Streamliner Jr is voiced by a mounted pair of Broad’Tron BT-3S humbuckers, which lay on tight basses, sparkling trebles and powerful mids and can varied at will via the flexible controls to voice everything from rock to jazz and rockabilly to indie. Via the push-pull master volume pot, the coils can be split, doubling the fun and giving you just as much single-coil flavoured range. The Bigsby B50 tremolo tailpiece is yet another welcome addition to the layout and supports smooth and controlled whammy-bar tricks, while the anchored Adjust-O-Matic bridge, oil-bed machine heads and bone nut combine to ensure excellent intonation and tuning stability.
