General

The Broadway has been one of Epiphone's most-loved full-size archtops since Epi Stathopoulo himself designed it back in 1931. Designed to embody that legacy, this Original Collection model fully brings back all the look and sound of a semi-hollow classic, courtesy of a spruce top, a laminated maple body and a set-in SlimTaper 60s C maple neck, all of which results in tight attack, maximum note definition and singing chords.

The Original Collection Broadway: Upgraded Classic Specs

To keep things classic yet stable, this electric arch-top guitar has been outfitted with an adjustable floating bridge, a deluxe gilded version of the Frequensator Split Trapeze tailpiece, and a set of 3x3-configured Wilkinson tuners. A Tree of Life headstock inlay and throwback pearloid position blocks with V-shaped abalone inlays add that all-important visual appeal. Meanwhile, fully tweakable, deep and warm double-coil sound is shaped by two Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers backed up by individual volume and tone pots, and a three-way pickup switch.

Geweldig goede gitaar voor jazz en 50 Rock, geluid precies wat ik zocht door mijn Koch versterker.
Goede gitaar voor weinig geld.
(B) stock gitaar helaas en scheur in de houten brug kam bij hoogte stel pen, dit kon ik niet zien op de foto's.
Maar dit doet niks af aan de kwaliteit van deze gitaar.

Prima jazzgitaar met een mooie volle klank. Wel eerst even uitproberen. Op mijn Boss Katana versterker resoneerden de dikke snaren bij solospel namelijk nogal mee (bij slaggitaar spelen was dat geen probleem). Op mijn Acus versterker voor akoestische gitaren was dat niet het geval.
