General

Pat Metheny is a famous jazz guitarist and has won a great number of Grammy awards. Even by jazz standards, Pat's sound is rather unique and therefore hard to describe. For his music, Pat uses elements from all kinds of styles and a guitar that could handle that typical Metheny sound just had to be made. The PM2 is the friendlier priced brother of the PM200 and is equipped with a Custom Super '58 pickup. This pickup is totally unique and allows you to produce the same smooth, subtle tones as Pat himself.
The smooth PM2
Artstar fret edge treatment provides an extra tight response of the strings and a nice, smooth fingering. The 305mm fretboard radius gives you a good balance between strumming and solo picking techniques. With the included flatwound strings you can smoothly slide your fingers along the strings with less annoying moving sounds and you'll have more playing comfort. With its elegantly designed, rather unique KT30 tailpiece, the PM2 is a true eye-catcher.

Superbe guitare, son magnifique pour le jazz. Livrée avec des cordes à filet plat. Desserrer les cordes pour extraire la protection sous le chevalet.

Commande passée lundi soir, réception mercredi matin. Emballage très bien.

Deze gitaar is een kopie van de PM20, met als verschil dat de PM20 een houten brug heeft en dat dee in Korea (Sammick) erd gemaakt. De PM 2 komt uit China maar is erg netjes afgewerkt en speelt gemakkelijker. De PM20 heeft echter een veel beter geluid, iets van Joe pass spelen gaat daardoor gemakkelijker. De PM 20 is helaas een paar jaar in productie gegaan. De reden waarom?. Ibanez komt uit Japan en maakte toen ook de PM120/100. Maar op zich is de PM2 een goede gitaar voor die prijs, terwijl de PM20 tot de top behoord wb. geluid, ongeacht de prijs.

La guitare est magnifique, d'une finition exemplaire. La fabrication chinoise n'a plus rien à envier aux ateliers japonais ou coréens. Le traitement "artist" des frettes, notamment, est formidable.
Légère, parfaitement équilibrée, cette guitare est confortable, avec un manche fin au toucher très agréable. Les potentiomètres fonctionnent parfaitement et aident l'unique micro Super 58 à délivrer toutes sortes de sons. On peut passer du temps à jouer à la fois sur le volume et la tonalité pour trouver son bonheur. A noter aussi que la guitare réagit finement aux nuances de l'attaque. Un bel instrument, vivant, bien fini, qui donne envie de jouer.

Livraison Bax parfaite: rapide (48h) et très bon emballage: un carton et du plastique à bulles pour protéger le carton Ibanez d'origine. Je recommande chaudement et l'instrument, et le site.

Superbe finition, son "Metheny" donc plutôt jazz fusion ou plus classique, mais également un instrument utilisable pour le blues. Une très belle et très bonne guitare, je suis ravi.
Livraison : promesse tenue de A à Z, parfaitement emballée et protégée pour le transport. Seul regret je constate 8 jours après la livraison une légère baisse de prix, c'est symbolique 11 euros, mais bon!
