General

With the AS63 Artcore Vibrante, Ibanez put a semi-acoustic thinline within affordable reach. The tight modern look of this great hollowbody electric guitar is topped with a vintage-vibe synthetic mother-of-pearl scratchplate while the body itself has been shaped using sapele with a nyatoh glued-in neck and laurier fretboard. This creates a rich acoustic midrange sound with precisely the right amount of bite. The tried-and-tested layout of the electronics controls two fat Infinity R humbuckers that amplify the natural sound of the AS63 with delicious transparency while a set of stable, chrome-plated machine heads, bridge and tail-piece finish a reliable and comfortable instrument.
