General
The Ibanez AS53 Artcore is a versatile hollow-body guitar armed with two forceful but flexible humbuckers that are happy to take on jazz, blues, classic rock or any other style that's rough around the edges. While this semi-hollow archtop has been fitted with 3-way switch for toggling the tone, there's more than sound alone that'll draw attention when you wield this Ibanez guitar, including the unique Transparent Red Flat finish.
The AS53: Lightweight, Feedback-Countering Build
Made of sapele, the body of this Artcore Series model is particularly lightweight and able to offer enhanced high and low frequency projection. Plug into an amp, and the passive pair of Infinity humbuckers fire up to send over the signal while the fitted centreblock helps to counter the feedback that usually comes with a hollow-body guitar.
