General

When Guild Guitars stormed the electric guitar market back in the '60s they converted many a guitarist with their Starfire models. The Guild Starfire V (black) is a modern take on that vintage classic and features a semi-hollow body with a sleek black finish. Besides the characteristic f-holes and Thinline body with double cutaways, this guitar features Guild's unique pickguard, a Bigsby tailpiece with tremolo arm, and two dual-coil pickups. This instrument is a perfect choice if you're looking to play some rock or blues.

Starfire V Black: expressive

Along with the round, spacious core sound provided by the body, the Guild Anti-Hum dual-coils send a powerful, sharp signal to your amp. This combination gives the Starfire a unique sound that can be broadly adjusted per pickup via the volume and tone knobs, as well as with the three-way pickup switch and the tremolo arm.

Luxury

The Starfire V isn't only an attractive choice for its expressive sound qualities, it has a number of luxurious features that make it a real steal. Arched mahogany was used for the top and back of the body, which has been beautifully decorated with ivory white bindings and black and white purfling. Furthermore, the neck features a strong 3-ply design of mahogany and maple, and the fretboard is equipped with pearloid block inlays. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that this luxury guitar comes with a luxurious case for safe storage and transport.

Krachtig klinkende gitaar met een groot spectrum aan mogelijkheden. Goed voor veel verschillende genres. Blijft vrij goed in tune, zeker als de snaren zich hebben 'gezet'. Ziet en hoort er niet enkel goed uit, speelt ook gemakkelijk op de hals.
