General

When we say this Gretsch U.S. Custom Shop G6118T 130th Anniversary (Metallic Gold with Black Back and Sides) is a highly exclusive hollow-body model, we're not kidding. Gretsch Guitars has issued this gold-coloured semi-acoustic guitar in an exceptionally limited edition (only three copies have been made available throughout Europe) to mark its 130th anniversary. The guitar sports a range of luxury features and is supplied with a black TKL case, a Gretsch 130th Anniversary leather guitar strap, an accessory pouch and a certificate of authenticity, signed by master builder Stephen Stern.

G6118T 130th Anniversary (Metallic Gold) with arched top and back

The 2.5-inch deep Gretsch G6118T 130th Anniversary (Metallic Gold) features an arched top and back, both made of maple and reinforced with Gretsch's own Trestle-style bracing. Both the maple neck and the gold-and-black body of this Gretsch Guitars instrument feature a durable gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The fingerboard is made of ebony and fitted with Neo-Classic Thumbnail position markers, and the guitar is also equipped with a Bigsby B6C tailpiece with tremolo and a mother-of-pearl 130th Anniversary logo on its headstock.

TV Jones Filter'Tron Classic pickups

The Metallic Gold G6118T features two high-quality TV Jones Filter'Tron Classic pickups, which reduce noise and produce a powerful, rich and clear sound. This Classic edition of the TV Jones Filter'Tron pickup has been designed to reproduce the Filter'Tron sound of the late 1950s and early 1960s. Thanks to its growling, classic twang, the versatile pickup is ideal for genres likes rockabilly, blues, country and rock, and a worthy addition to this Limited Edition guitar. Remember: only one copy of this gold-coloured G6118T 130th Anniversary is available, so make sure not to miss this rare opportunity!
