With that in mind, Gretsch and Guns N' Roses guitarist Richard Fortus introduce the G6636-RF Richard Fortus Artist Signature Edition. This thin-line double-cut Falcon offers classic looks, vintage sounds and American rock star levels of playability and stage presence. Speaking of which, so you can get it to gigs one piece, Gretsch include a deluxe hard-shell case with this premium electric hollow-body.

The G6636-RF: For Gretsch Devotees and GNR Groupies

Besides those devoted to that great Gretsch sound, fans of Guns N' Roses too will be pleased with the way this Gretsch G6636 signature sounds and feels. The laminated body and maple neck have been carefully made to shape a familiar acoustic foundation sound which gets picked up by two Custom Wound Filter’Trons and turned into vintage tone when amplified. Also, since the body has been fitted with a centre-block, there's no need to worry about any unwanted feedback at higher volume levels.

Fuss-Free, Stable and Sonically Flexible

While the 3-way pickup switch, the single tone pot and the master vlume control keep the electronics relatively clean and simple, that doesn't mean you're limited in terms of tonal flexibility. In fact, you have the option to leave the No-Load tone pot on zero to get even more of that famed Gretsch twang out of your amp! By the way, got a heavy rhythm hand? Not to worry, the comfy Standard U-profile neck and the 12" fretboard radius combine with an uber-stable TonePros TP6 bridge, a V-Stop tailpiece, a Graph Tech TUSQ XL and a set of Grover Rotomatic tuners to keep the tuning in check.
