The G6136TG: Classic Looks, Modern Playability

At first glance, it looks like the G6136T Falcon was pulled straight out of the early '60s. Look a little closer however and you'll notice that the body is a little slimmer compared to the original models, and features innovative ML bracing to fully stabilise the build as well as flesh out the foundation sound. The two FT-67 Filter'Tron pickups deliver crystal-bright trebles, tight mids and impacting basses, shaping fresh tonal variations based on classic tones. On top of that, these humbuckers aptly respond to any subtleties in your guitar sound and even the electronics have been tweaked to accommodate an awesomely wide selection of sounds.

Equipped with Popular Mods and a No-Load Tone Pot

In terms of hardware, Gretsch have equipped the electric archtop with two widely used modifications: Grover Imperial tuners and a special Adjusto-Matic bridge that's solidly secured by pins and a piece of ebony. Even the Bigsby tailpiece has been altered and brought bang up to date, meaning the new string-thru construction makes swapping out worn-out strings a whole lot simpler.
