General

A centre-blocked and double cutaway thinline archtop with that genuine Gretsch-grade tone. The left-handed Electromatic G5622LH comes with infamous and infectious tonal character and compulsive playability. Supported by a set of Black Top Broad'Tron pickups, this guitar shapes classic Filter'Tron-based sound variation with a nice extra layer of mid-range. The internally fitted centre-block wards off any unwanted feedback when the G5622LH is amplified while the tried-and-tested layout of the electronics offers a broad spectrum of semi-acoustic sound. The V-style tailpiece, Anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge and just as renowned GraphTech Nubone string nut all form a solid base for the stable tuning and excellent intonation.

Gretsch G5622 Electromatic Centerblock DC Bristol Fog Semi-Acoustic Guitar
Wrote the following about Gretsch G5622 Electromatic Centerblock DC Bristol Fog Semi-Acoustic Guitar

Gretsch Introduces the Vintage Select and Player Editions

Friday 29 January 2016

Gretsch fans can roughly be divided into two groups. On the one hand you have the purists who think the specifications from the 1950s and 1960s - the Gretsch heydays - are beyond dispute. On the other hand, you have the more practically minded guitarists who like to make modifications to their instruments. Luckily, both camps are being catered to with Gretsch's new series: the Vintage Select Editions and the Players Editions. Go for a modern classic like the G6118T-SGR or travel back in time to 1962 with the Gretsch G6119T-62GE!
