With the G5420T, classic and beloved guitar brand Gretsch have added another fantastic model to their Electromatic series. Gretsch is known for their warm and rounded, yet edgy sound, and this classic model, with its Black Top Filter'Tron pickups, certainly delivers on that. The hollow-body guitar is equipped with an Aspen Green finish, a silver-coloured pickguard and chrome-plated hardware. Its considerably deep body features a single cutaway that enables you to effortlessly access the highest frets, while still retaining optimal resonance.
The characteristics of the G5420T
The unique Black Top Filter'Tron pickups provide this semi-acoustic guitar with a full sound with sparkling trebles, ensuring that its famous twangy Gretsch sound cuts right through the mix. The Gretsch G5420T has a rosewood fingerboard with stylish position markers and a maple neck with elegant bindings. The guitar is fitted with a vintage-style Bigsby tailpiece and tremolo, such as those often found on old jazz guitars. The Adjusto-Matic bridge enables you to accurately determine the intonation of the strings.
