Do you want that legendary Gretsch quality and sound for a great price, and are you left-handed? Then we've got the guitar for you: the semi-acoustic G5420LH hollow body in Orange from the 2016 Electromatic Collection! Some improvements as opposed to the previous versions of this model include a Graph Tech NuBone string nut and 22 medium jumbo frets. Also, the master volume control allows higher frequencies more room to breathe than Gretsch's earlier hollow body models.
G5420LH: full, more output, clean bite
This left-handed Gretsch from the 2016 Electromatic Collection features two blacktop Filter'Tron pickups, a pair of humbuckers that offer you a unique twist on that classic Gretsch sound. They deliver a fuller base tone with more output combined with clear accents and a clean bite. This makes the G5420LH ideal for musical styles that require clean as well as crunchy and even light distortion effects. You can adjust the details with the three volume controls, the tone knob, and the 3-way pickup switch.
Stylish and classic
Besides a stylish high-gloss lacquered body in Orange, the Gretsch G5420LH hollow body offers a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard too. Both the body and neck are, just like the characteristic Gretsch F-holes, fitted with an elegant cream-white binding. Pearloid thumbnail inlays are used for the position markers on the fretboard itself, and the body is complemented by chrome-plated hardware and a silver-coloured pickguard. Last but not least, the Adjusto-Matic bridge of the Gretsch G5420LH allows you to accurately determine the intonation of this hollow-body guitar.
