General
The semi-acoustic Gretsch G2622T has a classic thinline form finished with a Bigsby B70 vibrato while a pair of high-output pickups give this Streamliner Centerblock a 21st-Century-worthy amplified sound. Broad’Tron BT-2S humbuckers provide solid low-end with bright, defined accents supported by the full mid-heavy foundation sound shaped by the laminated maple body.
G2622T: Adjusto-Matic Tone and No Feedback
The 'Center Block' literally refers to the block of spruce that runs through the centre of the body, reinforcing the top and preventing any interruption from feedback, even when the volume is cranked. The classic Gretsch no-fuss configuration of the electronics gives you no more and no less than is needed to pull all the potential out of this semi-hollowbody. Meanwhile, the anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, tailpiece, synthetic bone string nut and die-cast machine heads guarantee excellent tuning stability. Finished with the legendary tone-bending sound of the Bigbsy B70 tailpiece, the G2622 is every bit the modern classic - a hybrid of current humbucking potency with traditional thinline archtop construction.
