General

The G2420 Streamliner Hollowbody has that genuine Gretsch feel and acoustic sound along with the pure amplified power you get from a modern archtop guitar. This trusty semi-acoustic features a snug C-profile neck, medium jumbo frets and a classic 12-inch fretboard radius to guarantee masses of playing comfort, while the anchored Adjust-o-Matic bridge teams up with sealed self-lubricating tuners and a real bone nut for dependable tuning stability and consistent intonation.

The G2420: An Old Friend With a Modern Touch

The acoustic sound of this Streamliner is shaped by a laminated maple body and nato neck, which gives you that well-known and lush warm foundation sound. Meanwhile, Two Broad'Tron BT-2S pickups are mounted for the high-output amplification only a pair of double-wound humbuckers can offer that, while delivering fat fullness of tone, still manage to sound tight. The electronics also retain a classic layout including a 3-way pickup switch plus a push/pull master volume pot so you can fully explore the tone this classic model is capable of producing.
