General
With the Montreal Premiere Pro, Canadian masters, Godin present a high-grade semi-acoustic with some singular specs. This thinline model definitely brings the goods in terms of looks, thanks to a flat and glossy paint-job and contrasting silver leaf maple set-in neck and fretboard. Meanwhile, the body and soundboard have been carved from Canadian wild cherry wood and, to boost resonance and counter unwanted feedback, features a specially shaped centre block that sits beneath the soundboard, shaping defined and tight acoustic sound with subtle and lively accents in the higher registers.
The Godin Montreal Premiere Pro: Extreme Versatility
To ensure maximum amplified flexibility, the Montreal Premiere Pro has been mounted with an advanced pair of Seymour Duncan P-Rails framed by Triple Shot Mounting Rings. Via the two mini-switches fitted just next to the tone pot, the sound of these pups can be flipped through thick humbucker output, character-packed P90 output and even sparkling single-coil output at will. Basically, you're looking at an all-rounder of a hollowbody that can back up everything from jazz to heavy rock.
