General

Epiphone and Joe Bonamassa have added a new, luxurious, thinline archtop to their list of Signature guitars. Meet the Limited Edition ES-355 Standard Outfit in high-gloss, Ebony finish. Joe likes to call it the 'regular non-ego spec' edition because of its pearloid block markers instead of an in-lay bearing his own name. This well-crafted Archtop comes in its own custom case, which does actually sport not only his last name, but also the name of Bonamassa's personal guitar-themed man-cave "Nerdville, CA". This limited edition guitar includes a signed certificate of authenticity, so any Bonamassa buff can eat their heart out with this ES-355!

Joe Bonamassa ES-355: Classic PAF sounds and fancy gold-plated hardware

This semi-acoustic Epiphone has been outfitted with two double-coil ProBuckers with gold-plated covers. These pickups deliver that classic PAF sound to rock out to or bring on the blues with. Together with the 3-way switch, two volume knobs and two tone pot-meters, you're guaranteed a huge palette of guitar sounds, while Mallory condensers assure you of superb sound quality. All of the hardware mounted on this Signature guitar, including the Bigsby B7 vibrato-tailpiece and six Grover Rotomatic machine heads, comes in a chic, gold-plated finish. Along with the GraphTech Nubone string nut, you can be sure to enjoy subtle tone bending with the Bigsby, without having to re-tune this electric archtop soon after.

Gretsch Introduces the Vintage Select and Player Editions

Friday 29 January 2016

Gretsch fans can roughly be divided into two groups. On the one hand you have the purists who think the specifications from the 1950s and 1960s - the Gretsch heydays - are beyond dispute. Luckily, both camps are being catered to with Gretsch's new series: the Vintage Select Editions and the Players Editions.
