To celebrate 150 years in the business, Epiphone drop a very special selection of limited edition models, each based on some of their most legendary offerings, including the semi-acoustic 150th Anniversary Sheraton. Dipped in a tasteful Cherry paint-job, loaded with deluxe gilded hardware, a period-correct Tree of Life and fifties Epiphone headstock inlay work and abalone and mother-of-pearl position blocks, this icon of a thinline archtop brings the best of past right back to the present. The Epiphone 150th Anniversary Sheraton comes complete with a Epiphone 150th Anniversary Historic Hardshell Case.

The Ephiphone 150th Anniversary Sheraton: Tried & Trusted Build Quality & Sound

Snug and familiar playability is assured by the '60s SlimTaper profile of the one-piece mahogany neck which has been securely set into the layered maple body. Beneath the soundboard, a centre-block has been fitted to counter any unwelcome feedback, and to ensure supreme definition and amplified warmth, Gibson has provided a pair of their own Mini Humbuckers. These neat dual-coils are fully backed up by a set of four CTS pots with Orange Drop capacitors to complete the classic wiring layout, while a Switchcraft pickup switch and output jack ensure up-to-date reliability. To polish everything off, this ultra-special model features a Tremotone tailpiece, an Epiphone LockTone bridge and a set of Grover machine heads to fully shore up the tuning stability.
