General

Eastwood's Airline H77 is a tribute to the original model from the sixties, then made by Harmony and Silvertone. True to form, the H77 is a semi-acoustic guitar with just a few modern upgrades. For instance, the black Airline has a centre block in its hollow body to suppress feedback, as well as three Gold Foil Argyle pickups.

Eastwood Airline H77 Black: full single-coil sound with an immense range

These Airline pickups are modelled after sixties single coils, yet these produce a much larger range of rugged sounds with a bite. Thanks to the fuller sound and little added noise, these Argyles sound a bit more like humbuckers - but they still respond to the material of your pick and way of strumming with excellent definition (like single coils should). Moreover, each Airline Gold Foil Argyle has its own volume and tone control, as well as a switch to turn it on or off with.

Balanced basis creatively amplified

You can use the Eastwood hollow-body Airline H77 guitar for numerous sounds and types of music such as Chicago blues, classic rock and reggae, for instance. At the core of all these sounds we find a guitar that is largely made of maple with a rosewood fretboard, ensuring a rugged, balanced sound with a light midrange punch.

Eastwood Guitars Airline H77 Black
Wrote the following about Eastwood Guitars Airline H77 Black

Luckily, both camps are being catered to with Gretsch's new series: the Vintage Select Editions and the Players Editions.
