Duesenberg's Starplayer TV in 2-Tone Sunburst is a gorgeous version of the German manufacturer's most popular guitars. This 'Doozy' hollow body has a classic, vintage-style 2-tone Sunburst finish, and is renowned for its playability, sound, and attention to detail. Its maple body and spruce top is arched on the front as well as on the back, and the strings run through a reliable Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola vibrato unit. From its tuning mechanisms to its jack plug plate, the specially-designed hardware accentuates the exclusive character of this Starplayer TV guitar. An included Duesenberg case completes the picture.

Starplayer TV 2-Tone Sunburst

This guitar's sound is so versatile thanks to the Duesenberg P-90 pickup in the neck position and the Duesenberg Grand Vintage humbucker on the bridge. The P-90 is a sparkling souped-up single coil with a delicate, frayed edge. The PAF humbucker is wound by Duesenberg themselves and, with the addition of its semi-hollow body acoustics, produces a raw, vintage rock sound. When switched to single-coil and in mid-position, the humbucker delivers a radiant, tight high and filters out low tones.

International fanbase

Deusenberg borrowed its name from the famous 1920s German automobile company that was known for elegance, luxury and mechanical precision. Duesenberg guitars adopted these qualities since they began making guitars in 1986 and have since then paid enormous attention to emulating the details of the art-deco style in their 'Doozy' guitars. All of the hardware on these instruments is developed in-house, resulting in truly eye-catching guitars with a unique sound favoured by many famous guitarists around the world, including Joe Walsh, Glenn Frey, Ron Wood, Bob Dylan, Billy Gibbons, Jon Bon Jovi and Elvis Costello, to name but a few!

Na een tijd verliefd te zijn op afstand had Bax een pracht aanbieding op deze Duesie. Na wat fijne hulp van de helpdesk was het slechts 1 dag smachten en toen kwam de dame binnen, wat een heerlijke gitaar ! Super kwaliteit en top afgesteld speelt dit instrument als een tierelier. Wat een deal, ga hier nog lang van genieten. Wat een aanrader !
