This Duesenberg Double Cat in Fireburst has a luxurious appearance with an f-hole in the shape of a cat's eye, for starters. It boasts a double cutaway body made of solid alder and a maple top that gives the Duesenberg Double Cat special tonal characteristics. John Mayer played one on his hit 'Wildfire' at Pinkpop. This guitar comes complete with a case.
Duesenberg Double Cat Fireburst with Deluxe Tremola
The components used in this Duesenberg Double Cat Fireburst include a Duesenberg Domino P-90 in the neck position and a Duesenberg Grand Vintage humbucker at the bridge. The German P-90 sounds full and clear with slightly more gain on the amp that gives the overall sound a delicious raunchy edge that's perfect for crunchy rhythms or laid-back solos. The humbucker is a PAF that can stand its ground in heavier genres. This Duesenburg Double Cat is equipped with a Duesenberg Deluxe Tremola, one of the most dependable tremolo systems available.

Deusenberg borrowed their name from the famous 1920s German automobile company that was known for elegance, luxury and mechanical precision. Duesenberg guitars adopted these qualities too when they began making guitars in 1986 and since then have paid enormous attention to emulating the details of the art-deco style in their guitars.
