Product no: V-SAT-TMVS Bax Music Warranty: This product comes with a 3-year warranty.

General

This SAT-TMVS is a semi-acoustic guitar from Crafter's Slim Arch Series and is characterised by a thin hollow-body and arched maple top. Thanks to its two S-shaped sound holes, this guitar can be played acoustically and electrically. The Crafter SAT is equipped with a P90 pickup as well as an active Piëzo system for an unlimited assortment of sounds from dirty distortion to easy acoustic strumming.

Crafter SAT: The Best of Both Worlds

The Crafter SAT pulls its electric guitar sound from a passive P90 pickup by Kent Armstrong. The P90 gives you a full and warm sound with a typical single coil bite that's ideal for blues and rock. The acoustic sound department is overseen by the L.R. Baggs Element active Piëzo system and can be described as bright, lively and open, comparable to an amplified acoustic guitar. Each pickup has individual volume and tone controls so you can dial in the right flavours.

Y-Cable for Stereo Sound

Standard mono guitar cables combine both pickups' signals and the ratio of both pickups can be mixed accordingly using the volume buttons and the two-way pickup switch to create sounds never created on a standard electric guitar before. If you'd prefer to separate the Piëzo signal before sending it to an acoustic amp or a PA system, you can split the signal using the included Y-cable. This allows you to add distortion via your guitar amp while simultaneously sending acoustic cleans to the PA for an extra wide, spatial effect.

Friday 29 January 2016

Gretsch fans can roughly be divided into two groups. On the one hand you have the purists who think the specifications from the 1950s and 1960s - the Gretsch heydays - are beyond dispute. Luckily, both camps are being catered to with Gretsch's new series: the Vintage Select Editions and the Players Editions.
