General

The SAT-ARW by Crafter is a thin hollow-body guitar with a beautiful Andes Rosewood arched top. Andes Rosewood is a unique type of wood that's particularly well known for its lovely wood graining. This versatile semi-acoustic guitar is equipped with a P90 pickup, as well as a piëzo pickup for amplifying your acoustic sound. Thanks to the attractive S-shaped soundholes, the SAT can produce plenty of acoustic volume. The Crafter SAT is absolutely an ideal solution for both performances and studio recording sessions.

Flexible P90 and piëzo configuration

The Crafter SAT is equipped with a passive Kenty Armstrong P90 pickup. This pickup produces warm, full sound with that classic single-coil bite, making it perfect for blues and rock. With just the flip of the switch you can enjoy an authentic acoustic sound that's ideal for rhythm parts. This sound is produced by the built-in LR Baggs piëzo pickup, which is quite well known in world of guitars. Every pickup has its own volume control as well as a tone knob for filtering out the high frequencies. A mini switch allows you to choose between the two pickups, or you can use them simultaneously for new, creative sounds.

Stereo functionality thanks to included Y cable

If you connect a standard mono guitar cable to the SAT's stereo output, you'll receive the signal from both pickups simultaneously. Then you can use the volume controls to adjust the mix of electric and acoustic outputs. If you'd rather send the piëzo output to a separate acoustic amplifier or PA, then you can split the signal with the included Y cable. That means you can play with distortion on your guitar amp while simultaneously producing an acoustic clean sound via the PA, for an extra-spacious effect.

Luckily, both camps are being catered to with Gretsch's new series: the Vintage Select Editions and the Players Editions.
