General

The tamborim is a percussion instrument that you play with a plastic beater in one hand, while using your other hand to adjust the pitch. This percussive instrument is mainly suited for South American music styles, and it has a distinctly loud, bright and penetrating sound.

TBR06ALU 6-inch aluminium tamborim

Meinl offers a wide range of different tamborims, of which this is the aluminium version. It is equipped with the Floatune tuning system with countersunk spanners at the rims. This percussion instrument has a replaceable synthetic drumhead and a 6-inch diameter. You even get a tuning key included with your purchase!
