Rods come in when standard sticks are too loud and brushes are too soft. Crafted by Vater, this pair of VSPS Splashsticks are made of nineteen hand-selected birchwood sticks to guarantee a warm acoustic sound alongside a solid 'crack'. They've also been finished with a relatively long rubber grip for the optimal stick-feel and maximum rimshot-durability - in fact, the rods only stick out about 4 inches.
