Designed to shape more depth and bass while retaining a soft, low-volume sound, this pair Meinl SB204 Stick & Brush Bamboo XL rods feature an extra-thick bundle of dowels made from hand-selected, high-quality, and lightweight bamboo. The spread can be adjusted to vary the sound via the rubber O-ring, and since the length of dowels also dictates the response, these rods are only 15.1 inches long but wider than standard rods, so the spread is a touch less flexible to result in increased attack and fuller sound.
