The contemporary Yamaha TRBX304 in Candy Apple Red is an electric bass guitar with the impressive quality/price ratio we've come to expect from Yamaha. Besides an incredibly elegant design and attractive red finish, the bass is also equipped with a number of interesting technical features. The active tone circuit is adjustable with both a bass and treble knob as well as a 5-way EQ switch, for a wide range of sounds!
Solid basis
The versatile sound of the Yamaha TRBX 304 comes from a super solid basis. A solid mahogany body is responsible for a full, deep sound and a 5-part neck for stability and improved intonation. But let's not forget the two humbucker pickups! They distinguish themselves with oversized poles and ceramic magnets that work to create a powerful, deep and defined sound.

Ik heb hem nu een week in huis en hij bevalt prima.
je hebt zoveel mogelijkheden om je gitaar af te stemmen, zoveel keus aan toon variatie.
De afwerking is mooi kleur rood is nog mooier dan op de foto.
Speelt lekker voor mij toon regeling goed aanpasbaar. Ben een beginnende bassist, maar dik tevreden
Ik heb hem nu twee weken in huis en hij bevalt prima.

Met de band gromt de bas lekker mee,zo laag dat hij kan.
De hals is wel smal,dat is misschien even wennen maar daarin tegen is de bespeelbaarheid super goed!!
De rode kleur is anders dan op de foto,maar zeker niet ten nadele want in het echt is de gitaar veel mooier door de glans wat op de foto niet echt na voren komt.
Nadat ik hem uit de doos had gehaald,moest ik alleen de hals even iets bij stellen want de E snaar rammelde iets over de fretten,maar de inbussleutels waren netjes mee geleverd.

Ben erg blij met deze gitaar en het is zeker geen miskoop!!
De levering van Bax was wederom weer netjes op tijd,en de gitaar was zeer net ingepakt dus de kans op beschadigen was nihil.
Een tevreden klant!!
De variatie aan toon die dit instrument kan produceren is erg ruim, wat hem breed inzetbaar maakt. De bouwkwaliteit is (zeker voor de prijs) erg goed. De knoppen en schakelaar voelen solide aan, de stemmechanieken en brug idem, fretwerk is goed (geen scherpe randjes) en de afstelling af fabriek is goed (ik houd wel van een lage actie). De standaard gemonteerde snaren zijn volgens mij D'Addario's, dus daar is ook niets mis mee. De lak is mooier dan op een plaatje te vangen is. Het is een diep-metallic rood, waardoor de finish een bijna 3D-look krijgt. Oh ja, kudo's voor de matching headstock, Yamaha. Erg classy.

Eenmaal binnen gekregen, móest en zou ik natuurlijk mijn vroege verjaardagscadeau openmaken en uitproberen...dat hebben de buren geweten (via mijn TC ElectronicBG250)
Wat een power en vol laag kun je er mee produceren; de inboedel rammelde in huis...ben meteen toe aan nieuwe glaswerk :)
Daarna 's-avonds in de band geprobeerd...heeeerlijk!!Wat een geweldige sounds (en snel op de bas te veranderen)
Dit is zo een veelzijdig en makkelijk in te stellen bas, geweldig! En voeg daar aan toe dat hij zalig soepel (licht) is te bespelen, dan begrijp je dat dit noooooiiittt een miskoop kan zijn.
Zowel voor de beginner als de gevorderde bassist is dit een top-product. En dan heb ik het nog niet eens gehad over de prijs...zo laag als de bas kan knorren, zo laag is ook de prijs!
Yamaha, bedankt! - - - BAX bedankt!

Wel een opmerking over de kleur, de bas ziet er in het echt erg anders (mooier!) uit dan de afbeeldingen op deze pagina doen vermoeden. Op deze pagina lijkt hij namelijk één egale kleur rood te zijn met een vrijwel kunststof-achtige look en matte reflectie, terwijl hij in het echt metallic rood is en meer glinsterend dan mat is. (Denk, zoals de naam al suggereert, aan een geglazuurde appel)
Daarnaast lijkt het op de foto ook alsof er een 'scherpe' grens van hoog naar laag op de body is, terwijl dit in het echt gewoon gelijdelijk overloopt.
Dikke 5 sterren!
Je mag echter niet vergeten om de stekker uit je bas te trekken na het spelen, anders is de batterij zo leeg....kwestie van er een goede gewoonte van te maken.
De afwerking van de bas is ook écht top !!!
Weerom een topper qua kwaliteit/prijs !!
