General

The black Sterling by Music Man SUB Ray5 is a 5-string electric bass guitar made under licence of Music Man. Even though it is made in Indonesia, it is finished and tuned in America, which means that you have a bass that is very affordable, and yet has the same high-quality finish as an original USA Music Man instrument. Additionally, it feels just as smooth and your fingers won't stick thanks to the satin-gloss lacquer on the back of the neck.

The sound of the Sterling SUB Ray5

The Stingray Bass is known for its powerful and versatile sound. The Sterling Sub Ray5 produces the same sound thanks to the same humbucker with large magnet poles. This pickup is distinct for Music Man guitars and produces high output, which is great for the rough stuff. However, the active 2-band equalizer on this guitar allows you to boost or filter the bass and trebles for a wide range of highly usable bass sounds. Whether you're looking for warm and jazzy or bright and punchy, the Sterling SUB Ray5 can do it all.

Rugged construction

The Sterling by Music Man SUB Ray5 has a body made of solid hard wood. The 21-fret maple neck of the Sterling is - like all Musicman bass guitars - bolted to the body with six screws, a solid construction that enhances tonal transference and sustain. Should you ever wish to adjust the neck, doing so is child's play. The characteristic Music Man truss rod nut is on the end of the neck and can easily be adjusted without removing the neck or strings.

Sterling by Music Man SUB Ray5 black
Wrote the following about Sterling by Music Man SUB Ray5 black
De Amerikaanse Sterling Music Man SUB Ray5 basgitaar is geproduceerd in Indonesië.
