General

For those who like to go deep and are looking for a no-nonsense J-Bass there's the natural edition of the Squier by Fender Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V. This five-string bass guitar is equipped with an additional thick B string that'll thoroughly expand your musical possibilities. It is the ideal solution for when down tuning no longer does the trick. This 2013 edition is also equipped with two Fender-designed pickups that allow it to produce an even more authentic Jazz Bass sound.

Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V: looks and sound

Contrary to 4-string versions, this bass was fitted with a beautiful '70s-style neck that is characterised by a maple fretboard with black bindings and black block inlays. In addition to the Fender single-coil upgrade, the wood of the body was exchanged for soft maple. This is a lightweight wood type that produces a clear tone with tight, full basses. The vintage-tinted neck features 20 medium jumbo frets and its 48 mm make it surprisingly comfortable for a 5-string.

The Squier brand

The most famous Fender guitars are the Precision and Jazz bass guitars and the Stratocaster and Telecaster electric guitars. Many manufacturers have imitated these in different price ranges. In order to be able to provide a reliable and attractive alternative for beginners, Fender started their subsidiary Squier in 1982. Squier guitars and bass guitars are built according to specifications by, and under supervision of, Fender.

Erg mooie basgitaar! Weinig actie, stevig geluid. Vrijwel geen ruis te horen. Verrassend goed voor deze prijsklasse!

Geweldige basgitaar!
