General

Squier's Artist series contains distinctive, personal instruments with the recognisable features of series models, like this Eva Gardner Precision Bass for instance. Bass guitarist Eva Gardner plays the bass for The Mars Volta and Pink (among others). Squier took some of her and her guitar's characteristics in mind when they created this signature model. Eva's sailing-ship tattoo has found a place between the bridge and the bridge pickup and her signature adorns the headstock. A special inlay marks the 12th fret and the beautiful brown-tortoise pickguard was fitted with a finger rest.

Squier Eva Gardner P-Bass: materials and finish

This Precision Bass has a basswood body and a comfortable C-profile neck with 20 medium jumbo frets on its rosewood fretboard. As is befitting for a P-Bass, this signature model is equipped with a single Fender designed split-coil. It has a Hi-Mass bridge with brass barre saddles and its body and headstock have a beautiful black polyurethane lacquer finish. This Eva Gardner P-Bass is an all-rounder with a distinctive look and feels right at home providing a solid base for pop and rock bands.
