The black Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass IV active is a magnificent bass guitar with a sound that can't be beat. Thanks to its sleek black finish, it looks as smooth as it sounds. The Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass IV Active Black is equipped with excellent electronics and hardware, making it a proper Deluxe bass guitar. A 3-band equalizer (treble, mid and bass) allows you to adjust the overall sound of the bass with ease. Moreover, the guitar features a slap switch, a little button that gives the guitar a punchier sound that is great for slapping.

Wood and hardware: basswood body and Ebonol fretboard

The body of the Squier Deluxe Jazz Bass IV Active Black is made of basswood, a lightweight type of wood that ensures a fat, yet balanced tone and that increases playing comfort. The Ebonol fretboard will have your fingers flying across the frets with ease.

Totalement débutant en basse, l'avis vaut donc ce qu'il vaut (mais musicien depuis longtemps malgré tout !): plutôt satisfait de mon achat, belle basse coté fabrication, elle fait clairement bonne impression (confirmé par mon prof de basse). Elle est arrivée en plus réglée, RAS, un accordage et c'est parti, même la pile de 9 volts est déjà dedans !. Le manche est très agréable très doux et glisse bien.
Coté son c'est un peu moins rond que ce que à quoi je m'attendais pour une Jazz Bass (certes active), voire parfois un peu métallique selon les réglages des potards mais c'est très bien tout de même.
Seule bémol: a été livrée sans le moindre manuel, je ne sais pas trop à quoi correspond chaque bouton, un bout de feuille aurait suffit à donner la fonctionnalité de ceux-ci. Il va falloir regarder sur internet.
Basse commandée en même temps que ses accessoires (housse + sangle) mais arrivée le lendemain des accessoires (2 envois) ça surprend au premier abord, mais le SAV de Douai consulté m'a très gentiment rassuré. Basse bien protégée dans un double carton, aucun pb de transport. Merci Bax-Shop.

Deze bas laat je enorm verrassen! Wat een vette sound en wat speelt hij lekker. Ik was van plan om een Ibanez ATK800 te kopen maar toen ik eenmaal op deze had gespeeld was ik helemaal om. Hals ligt lekker in de hand, snaren spelen heel soepel en het geluid is vet!

De bas is niet heel zwaar, ziet er prachtig uit en heeft een lekker breed bereik.

Heel blij mee!

Klein leuk detail, je hebt geen schroeven draaier nodig om je batterij te vervangen, niet verkeerd mocht je onverhoopt tijdens een gig tegen een lege batterij aanlopen.

Squier by Fender Deluxe Jazz Bass!

Mooi zwart.
met meegespoten headstock en witte logo.

Zeer degelijk gebouwd.
De ebonol fretboard is best apart maar speelt lekker.

De actieve voorversterker en 3-band EQ werken goed.
Weinig ruis.

Alleen jammer dat hij niet wordt geleverd met een gitaartas.
Want dat zou je wel verwachten bij een "deluxe" bass.

Heb ook nog de zwarte Fender straplocks
En Fender monogrammed gitaarband erbij besteld.
