General

The Jaguar Bass is a modern Fender classic and that's more than reason enough for Squier to build a more affordable version to add to their famed Classic Vibe Series. The result is an electric offset bass with a versatile PJ pickup configuration consisting of Fender-designed Alnico pickups to ensure a broad palette of sounds. Focussed on comfort and convenience, the build further features concentric tone and volume controls for eased tweaks and, naturally, Squier have blessed their take on the Jaguar Bass with a C-profile neck, a 9.5-inch fretboard radius and narrow-tall frets to make sure that the strings are easier to press down. To finish, it's the '70s-style styling and the vintage finish of the neck that seal up the aesthetics of the Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar Bass.

Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar Bass 3-Tone Sunburst
Wrote the following about Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar Bass 3-Tone Sunburst
I own Fenders, and this is easily on par with them. The fit and finish is fantastic. The setup out of the box was near perfect. The frets were level, there was no fret sprout, and their edges were smooth and well finished. Even the fretboard didn't look like it needed oiling, which for a guitar built on the other side of the world, and no doubt spent months in transit and storage, is rare. The sunburst finish looks deep and pretty, the wood grain is nice, the neck's vintage tint looks great, and the carve of the neck feels wonderful. The components also feel very good and the pickups sounds great.

I bought this, as I wanted a PJ configuration, with a Jazz neck profile. I also wanted a slightly shorter scale neck, as I'm not very tall, and wanted something more comfortable, without going all the way to a short-scale (which noticeably impacts the sound and feel of the strings). For this brief, this bass guitar is essentially perfect, and the quality, especially for the price, is simply a wonderful.

Squier's Classic Vibe series has a great reputation, and this is perfect example of why these guitars are revered to highly. It's pro-level instrument, akin to an American made Fender, just without the word "Fender" in big letters on the headstock.

Very versatile bass. I had a squire as my first guitar and was wary about the purchase, but after this I have Great confidence in it!

Qua prijs en kwaliteit dik in orde. Goede sound. Ziet er ook fraai uit. Zelf heb ik de brug laten aanpassen waardoor de sound nog beter is.
