The Squier Classic Vibe '70s Jazz Bass is based on Fender's J bass from the 1970s. Just like the original model, this electric bass guitar has a versatile sound and a high level of playing comfort. Authentic design elements include the block position markers on the fretboard and the vintage tint on the back of the neck. It's equipped with two Fender Designed Alnico single-coil pickups and what's more, all this comes at a very attractive price.

Wat een geweldige basgitaar! Hij ziet er sowieso heel mooi uit, de afwerking is top. Voor een vintage of modern geluid prima geschikt, de bespeelbaarheid vind ik fijn en soepel. De snaren klinken stevig en evenwichtig.. De volume en toon regelaar(s) bieden genoeg mogelijkheden om diverse geluiden in te stellen. Ik heb na binnenkomst alleen de intonatie een beetje moeten aanpassen omdat ik er andere snaren op heb gezet, maar vanuit de fabriek klonk en voelde alles al dik in orde. Keurig bezorgd door Bax in een stevige (dubbele verpakking) en voor een goede prijs.

Een zeer veelzijdige basgitaar. Voor een kleine 400 euro krijg je ongelooflijk veel speelplezier terug!

De basgitaar zelf is erg mooi vormgegeven. Mooie sunburst kleurencombinatie, een lichtgekleurd gelakte toets en kwalitatief goede frets. Optimaal speelcomfort.

De elementen zijn krachtig in geluid en geven weinig 'brom' af.

Door de single coil configuratie is de basgitaar voor zowat elk genre te gebruiken.

Snelle en zorgvuldige levering van Bax, zoals altijd.

Een dikke 5*!

Prachtige bas! Het is m'n eerste en ik ben net begonnen met les.
Bax schrijft in de keuzehulp voor basgitaren: "Je verwacht het misschien niet, maar de belangrijkste vraag voor een beginner is: "Is het een mooie basgitaar?" Dat zit met deze wel goed!

Het is een Jazz bas, wat zeker voor m'n ongeoefende handen een uitkomst is. Hij past als gegoten!

Klein minpuntje vind ik de zichtbare schroefjes rond de elementen. Die hadden bv zwart mogen zijn. Maar dat is bij een €1700,- Fender niet veel anders. Gelukkig is er Edding :)
Ik heb hem overigens in de winkel in Goes uitgekozen. Fijn hoe je daar uitgebreid geholpen wordt, ook al hebben ze het druk.
Al met al blij mee en klaar voor de toekomst!
