Built with surgical-grade precision in Germany, the Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage M/J Bass pretty much embodies attention to detail. The ultimate in sonic adaptability, this bass wields the finesse of an MM-style humbucker at the bridge and a J-style single-coil at the mid-position. This wide-range setup is coupled with an active two-band EQ circuit with bass and treble boost and a Vintage Tone Control. The result is an insanely flexible instrument with an entirely unique character. This four-string edition has a red alder body with a Solid Olympic White High Polish finish.
The MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage M/J Bass: The Finer Things
Besides the breathtaking tonal range, the Sadowsky M/J Bass boasts an impressive level of playability. While the body bears a J-style shape, it's a touch smaller and more manageable than a standard J-bass, and provides an extra-deep pair of cutaways. The maple neck has the familiar feel of a C-profile and a fretboard with a modern 12 inch radius, while smaller but just as essential details include the Just-A-Nut III nut and a set of ultra-stable lightweight open-gear machine heads. Fully refined from the lower bout to the headstock, the Sadowsky MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage M/J Bass comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and a Sadowsky Portabag.
