Chicago based Lakland are already known for producing outstanding bass guitars. As such, the 3-Tone Sunburst form and rosewood fretboard of the Skyline 44-02 Q is shaped with minute precision. The combined ash body and quilted maple top don't just look good, but offer a just as precise and balanced sound while a Lakland MM and a Lakland J-style pickup register with a clarity that could never get lost in the mix. A Lakland LH3 preamp offers detailed midrange controls to dial in a deep and satisfying punch supported by just enough high and bottom-end.
