Do you play rock or metal, and are you looking for a comfortable 5-string bass? The Jackson JS Series Concert Bass JS3VQ is a great option with its lightweight poplar body and quilted maple top. Each model has its own unique character due to the Transparent Black Burst finish that accentuates the individual wood grain of each individual instrument. To top it all off, the iconic pointed Jackson headstock has five machine heads all lined up in a row.
Concert Bass JS3VQ: great sound and playing comfort
Jackson has decided to equip the JS3VQ with an extra-long scale length that measures 35 inches. The main advantage is that the low B string maintains a good tension, offering greater tuning stability. The amaranth fretboard with 24 jumbo frets and compound radius are also contributing factors to the overall playing comfort of this bass. When it comes to sound, you won't be disappointed. The JS3VQ boasts two powerful high-output Jackson pickups that, in combination with the active tone controls, gives you a wide range of tonal flavours to play with!
