General

This beautiful David Ellefson Signature bass guitar from Jackson's guitar factory, is a mixture between a Firebird and a Kelly. The result, designed in collaboration with David Ellefson (Megadeth), is the unique shape of the Kelly Bird V Bass. Thanks to the extra string, you can produce the deepest tones in your band without affecting your personal sound in any way. With its blue colour that gradually changes to black, the Kelly Bird V Bass has a mysterious look that perfectly matches the music style this bass was intended for. A beautiful bass at a friendly price.
Jackson David Ellefson Signature Kelly Bird V Bass: loud and clear
When we mention the name Megadeth, you might already be thinking about rougher music styles and that is precisely where this guitar hold its own. It's equipped with a pair of EMG pickups with an extra high output for a fat and powerful sound. Basswood allows the guitar to produce a tight, defined sound and thanks to the extra thick bridge, the bass has an extra long sustain. Each pickup has its own volume knob and the overall sound can be adjusted by means of an active 3-band equalizer. With these controls you can perfect the sound of your bass guitar completely to your liking.
Compound radius-fretboard
The neck of the David Ellefson Kelly Bird V Bass is made of hard, solid maple and has a 21-fret rosewood fretboard and pearloid block inlays to mark the positions. The higher positions of the fretboard are flatter than the lower positions. Thanks to this compound radius, in combination with the extra large jumbo frets, you'll have optimal playing comfort along the entire neck. The headstock of the Kelly Bird V Bass has that typical Jackson sharp hockey stick-like shape. It is fitted with four first-grade sealed, self-lubricating tuners in one line and of course features the classic Jackson logo in white.
