General

The super-affordable and super-serious Ibanez TMB35 is a chunk of pure playing pleasure. The comfy 30" scale length, the range of 5-strings, and two different flavoured pickups are like a little bass-shaped sweety shop. The poplar body, maple neck, and jatoba fretboard give this instrument its smooth, full sound and transparent, bright edge. The two mounted single-coils give you access to jazz-style and precision-style tone that can then be blended to taste, or separated at will. The short-scale neck simply sits nicely in your hand and makes it just that little bit easier to play those trickier riffs at double speed, completing an elegant, versatile bass that packs plenty of scope, and plenty of pure fun.

Wrote the following about Ibanez TMB35-MGR Mint Green 5-String Electric Bass Guitar

Heel leuke bas, prima geluid, de pick-ups (P-bas en J-bas klinken ook zoals de Fender bassen.
Heel mooi afgewerkt, speelt licht en is gemakkelijk te stemmen.
De bas is lekker licht, geeft wel een beetje “neck-dive”, maar met draagband merk je daar niets meer van.
Waar je op moet letten:
Wie flatwounds wil, moet beseffen dat er weinig keuze is in snarensets. Zelfs LaBella heeft niets.
Alleen Dunlop heeft een flatwound snarenset voor deze 5 snarige short scale bass, en dat is een dure set.
Maar al met al, een heel leuke bas voor weinig geld e heel comfortabel instrument!
