General

Bass guitars from Ibanez' Bass Workshop feature a number of practical innovations. This SRSC805 Deep Twilight Flat has a scoop-cut back and lengthened top wing, for instance. The 5-piece neck is made of maple and exotic purpleheart wood and is attached to the body with a neck-through construction. The scoop-cut back makes accessing even the highest of the 24 medium frets as easy as possible and the 34-inch scale length ensures that the B-string has good tension. The fretboard is also made of purpleheart. The lengthened top wing adds more stability and resonance to this modern Soundgear model and the Mono_Rail V bridge adds to this bass's tight sound and excellent sustain. Two passive Bartolini soapbar pickups are responsible for delivering the sound to an amp, while the active 3-band EQ and 3-way mid frequency switch let you adjust that sound to perfection. In short, the SRSC805 is ideal for the demanding and adventurous bassist looking for optimal playing comfort and sound.

Wrote the following about Ibanez SRSC805 Bass Workshop Deep Twilight Flat
